Today has not been that great. I learned that my best isn't good enough all the time. And I have let that leave me so upset and feeling so alone. My roommate Sarah suggested I listen again to this General Conference talk by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf from last October.
This was my favorite talk of this whole conference.
And I'm thankful for this counsel. I needed it. SO MUCH!
Thank you Sarah Dimmick, I love you more than you know and I am so glad to have you as a roommate this year and next year! You mean so much to me!
Read, Listen or Watch this talk. Mormon or not I promise you will LOVE this talk almost as much as me.

Taking Life Day by Day...
College is hard. I know that everyone says that, but you never realize how true that is until you live it.
However, I have been so blessed by so many people around me.
One of my teachers, who has at least 2,000 students, knows that I am struggling and makes the effort to email me and meet with me, most times without me needing to say a word.
My bishops, from home and my bishop here, guide me and give me advice when I need it most.
My roommates, know how to make me laugh and help me realize that college is only a small portion of the life ahead of me and remind me to enjoy life a little bit... even when school is completely overwhelming.
My best friend with our weekly lunch dates, gives me an even bigger perspective on how small my problems really are.
And finally.
My mom, grandpa, and grandma. I don't know where I would be without them. Where my determination or will to go on would come from.
I am so blessed with so many people that God has placed in my life. It's hard for me to see His hand in my life everyday.. but when I look back at my week and think of that person that left a nice note by my door or the friend that asked me how I was a really wanted an answer... I see His hand directly in my life. He loves me, he cares about what I am doing and what I am going through and what I want to become. He has known me from the beginning, and knows me better than I know myself.
So for now, I am living life day by day, challenge by challenge, test by test, and trial by trial.
I'm taking life day by day, and making the best of it all.
Here's to Livin' it to the fullest!
